Driver - Adults Supporting Adults

Adults Supporting Adults provide an at home day service for people with dementia. They are currently looking for drivers in the Spalding and Boston area. The driver would offer a door to door service from the clients home to a providers home, and then the return journey. It is a rewarding and satisfying role. Own car is essential, though it must be insured for business use.

Driver – Sleaford & District Furniture Recycling Project:

Driver is required to move & collect furniture and certain electrical items to and from households as appropriate. Minor repairs to furniture so would suit someone with carpentry skills.

Driver – Heckington Area Voluntary Car Service:

To become part of a small team of volunteer drivers who provide transport for people who live in the Heckington area and adjoining parishes. The service is for people who are in need, e.g. housebound, aged, disabled or that face difficulty using public transport and are in need of some form of medical treatment. It is both a rewarding and gratifying role and you only need commit yourself to when you are available to help. The opportunity is based within the parishes of Heckington, Great Hale, Little Hale, Helpringham, Burton Pedwardine, Ewerby, Evedon and Kirkby la Thorpe.

Driver – Sleaford & District Voluntary Car Scheme:

The voluntary car driving scheme is a transport service provided by volunteers using their own cars. This allows elderly, disabled & disadvantaged people access to transport where there is none, or they are not able to use public transport to take them to hospitals, dentists, doctors and social events. Areas covered are Boston, Notts, Grantham, Lincoln, Sleaford and others.
