What is volunteering?
Volunteer (noun) [vol-un-teer]
Volunteering is “an activity that involves spending time, unpaid, doing something that aims to benefit the environment or individuals or groups other than (or in addition to) close relatives” [Volunteering England]
Volunteering is open to anyone. We recognise that everyone has a valuable contribution to make to society.
What ever your age, status, ethnicity, background, or however much time you have spare, there with be a volunteering opportunity for you.
